Rafał Krenz received his M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication in 1989 and in Computer Sciences in 1991, both from Poznań University of Technology. In 1990 he joined the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications and in 1996 he received his Ph.D. from PUT. Currently he works as an Assistant Professor at the Chair of Wireless Communications. His research interests are in mobile systems and wireless networks (physical and link layers). He is also interested in Software Defined Radio systems, involving signal processing in DSP and FPGA.
Since 1991 he is involved in research projects led by Prof. Krzysztof Wesołowski. He participates in research grants funded by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education as well as in international projects funded by European Union within Framework Programs (WindFlex, Winner, Winner II, Newcom). He has published over 40 papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He acts as a reviewer for IEEE transactions and journal papers and international and national conference papers.
